Hi, yes.  Hello!  Yep, there’s still a real live person here making this blog.  <\/p>\n

I need a hashtag for when I just post words.  Actually, have I even done that before?<\/p>\n

So, couple of things.  First, believe it or not the theme, Astra, for this WordPress blog is heavily tweaked and modified.  I never really found a decent one that got out of the way of the content so I stripped down the Astra theme as much as I could figure out.   But, I screwed myself in the process because any official updates to the Astra theme will break my customizations.  I was supposed to have created a WordPress child theme or something.<\/p>\n

Anyways, the theme is getting quite old, there have been many skipped updates to it and surely sooner rather than later something somewhere will become outdated and break functionality.  So, point being a blog upgrade is on the horizon. Enjoy this one while it lasts, it’s fine with me and I’ll keep the same look as much as I can, but inevitably something will get jacked.<\/p>\n

Also, I’ve been thinking about making non-looping animations.<\/p>\n

Especially with all the character animation lately I’m spending a significant percentage of my time just figuring out how to cram everything into a seamless loop and it’s becoming more technical than artistic.  I dunno.  Maybe one week out of the month dedicated to non-looping animations, maybe one month out of the year?  While I’d lose the “animated painting”, the moment trapped in time, it could be creatively very freeing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
