Day: August 25, 2025

Top one was taken yesterday, bumblebee was taken this afternoon.  There’s some sort of rose bush (next time it flowers I’ll ID it) then some hostas and hydrangeas ripped up from the other side of the building and replanted on this side and then 3 random packets of zinnias I sprinkled down before any replanting. 

So, what didn’t get eaten by the birds and squirrels got kind of shoved around.  Let’s see, I think I weeded twice and watered it maybe 5 times over the past 2 months.  There are automatic sprinklers but the soil here is like beach sand. Nothing impressive, just of a spur of the moment kind of thing.  Oh well, it’s a 1000% better than the weedy litter-box that was there.  We’ll try for a better one in the spring.
