Man, I was way off. Sort of. December of last year I estimated that I’d generate 25-45 GB per year, but then I remember I halved the 10 second animations to 5 seconds early on, so… The image above is the number and size of files currently sitting on the Getoffthisplanet.com Dreamhost webserver.
Right now there are 495 files in the Animation folder. Most are 5 10 seconds long, so about 40 80 something minutes watched back to back. There are 20 images that were posted over the year.
Considering today marks 365 days since the first post here, I’m also currently trying to decide if I want to post some more thoughts about this project. Or maybe I’ll just let this post be it.

*so, I came back and edited this post. For awhile there my brain was stuck on “5 seconds” when, in fact, the animations are 10 seconds/300frames@30fps. So, a year later I am editing this post to the correct number.
